Lindsey is currently a member of the American Counseling Association and the Colorado Counseling Association. Lindsey has been a first responder in various roles for over ten years. Resiliency is the ability to bounce back from adversity and develop the skills to manage stress optimally. It is okay not to be okay. Sometimes, things are too stressful, and we need help outside ourselves. Sometimes that stress can be overwhelming, even crippling. Life continues to ebb and flow, yet we feel stuck or overwhelmed. Or maybe you have experienced trauma and are struggling to recover fully.
Lindsey wants to help you put your best foot forward. She provides compassion, empathy, and cultural awareness, offering empathetic care in all seasons of life right where you are. Lindsey's approach is goal-directed and collaborative, involving both the client and the counselor. She incorporates several modalities to ensure well-rounded care and specialized practice for you as an individual. Currently, she utilizes and expands on Crisis Response, Motivational Interviewing, and theories of Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Reality Theory, Person-Centered Theory, and Existential Theory.
